Privacy and retention
DRAFT — to be agreed by participating communities.
What is stored
- About reported players: Steam64 ID, the in-game names they were reported under (up to 20), and the reports about them: category, reason, description, server, time of the incident, and evidence links.
- About community staff: Discord user ID, community and role. When you sign in, your Discord ID, display name and avatar are kept in your session cookie.
- A log of every action taken in the hub (who did what, and when).
Nothing else is stored: no IP addresses, hardware IDs, or other identifiers.
Who can see it
- Reports are visible only to signed-in staff of participating communities and to hub staff. Nothing is public except these documents.
- A report that has been overturned disappears from lookups and exports 30 days after the overturn. Hub staff can still see it.
How long it is kept
Reports are deleted two years (730 days) after they were filed. Their evidence links, decisions and disputes are deleted with them, along with the hub's Discord messages about them. A player's Steam64 and known names are deleted once no report about them is left.
Requesting deletion
Contact a hub admin in the hub's Discord server. Hub admins can delete a report early, which removes the same data as above. Every deletion is recorded in the action log by report reference and reason. The action log is permanent. It does not record the player's Steam64 or names, but it does keep the evidence links that were added to the report.
Appealing a ban
The hub doesn't handle appeals. Each community decides for itself whether to ban, so to appeal a ban, contact the community that banned you.
